Dr. Willer has many years of experience performing neurological surgeries involving the vertebral spine secondary to fractures, intervertebral disc herniation, and congenital deformities to name a few. The limitation of FRMSS performing neurological surgeries on a mobile basis is the need to complete advanced imaging beforehand such as CT scans or MRI in some cases. Therefore, diagnostics must be arranged and completed at specific locations which provide these services before surgery is considered or arranged. Not all neurologic surgical candidates allow for this staged process, but rather are considered emergencies which should quickly and efficiently have surgery performed by trained surgeons. Your veterinarian in consultation with Dr. Willer can provide recommendations individualized to the needs of you and your pet.
